Ontario River Musky Guide
Ontario River Musky Guide Graham with a 50-pound Musky

Ontario River Musky Fishing: To the surprise of most Ontario anglers, some of Ontario’s trout and steelhead rivers also have good populations of musky.

River Musky: Some river muskies have the potential to be over 50 inches, and days of over a dozen fish seen and landed are possible. I’ve caught and released musky over 50 pounds near the mouths of some of these trout rivers.

Your Guide: Below is your guide with some 50 to 60-pound muskies he’s caught guiding over the last 15 years.

Best times: We guide for river musky from July 1st to November 1st, and find we can catch fish during any month.

Fly Fishing: We’ve guided fly anglers to big muskies over 55 inches. If you have ever wanted to try fly fishing for these hard-fighting and challenging fish, now is your chance.

We use large customer musky and pike flies with 8 to 10-weight fly rods. If you don’t have the proper rods, you can use ours.

Bait casting: If you’re the type of angler who wants to throw big heavy lures for the biggest muskies, then we can help. We have guided and taught hundreds of musky anglers how to cast effectively, and we’ve caught muskies up to 60 pounds casting lures.

Boat trips or walk or wade trips: Most of our musky trips are by river boat, but we also have the ability to guide for big muskies on foot.
